Taco Night!

Please forgive me for the not-so-nice pictures, but we were in a hurry to eat!  These tacos were soo good!  The first picture is of the vegan ground round mixed with taco seasoning and cheddar Daiya!  The second is of my husband's messy tacos with salsa and vegan sour cream.  I would have liked to have added some romaine lettuce to them as well, but we ran out it. :(  I'm in shock how much my husband liked these, since he still loves his meat/cheese!   He's hard to please and I'm over the moon that he can enjoy delicious vegan food!!  I'm hoping one day that he'll decide to come over to my side! ;)

    what ground round did you use Marci?? Do you like the Daiya?

    LightLife brand GimmeLean ground round. Their sausage version is really good too! Yes, I really like Daiya - I prefer the cheddar over the mozzarella, but they're both good. :)

    oh darn!! they don't sell any of the Lightlife products up here..I've emailed and inquired. I guess I'll keep using the Yves brand..

    That stinks Fi! I really like all of their products! Keep bugging them and maybe they're start carrying them!

    Marci, my husband is still a meat eater too. One day we will get them. Hopefully. These look soooooo good! What kind of ground meat do you use because I tried the Yves brand and I'm not going to lie, I hated it. I haven't tried another one since. If you know of a good one, please let me know!

    Hi Carissa! I used LightLife brand GimmeLean ground round. Their sausage variety is good too. I like their sausage kind better, but this was good with the taco seasoning. :)
